Out of nowhere Sega has gone and announced Valkyria Chronicles for PC. This isn’t some far off idea that may or may not happen in the Spring of 2028 only to get quietly canceled sometime in 2018. No, this is the real deal, Valkyria Chronicles is launching for PC on November 11th 2014 for £14.99/€19.99/$19.99, that’s right, in just 2 weeks you can head on back to the awesomeness that is Valkyria Chronicles.
Since Sega’s cover was blown about Valkyria Chronicles coming to PC early this week as the Internet Rumor Mill began to swirl there’s a small maybe in the first sentence of the press release Sega is sending around. “In the words of series’ favorite, Aika Thompson, “we’re just getting warmed up!” Is this a hint that maybe the rest of the Valkyria Chronicles Trilogy will be heading to PC or am I just reading to much into things?
Looking at the price it seems kind of high right out of the gate for a game released in 2008. However you need to take into account that all the DLC will be coming with the base game when you buy it for PC. Normally these kinds of deal publishers still like to nickle and dime you on past DLC so I think this is great deal. If you pre-order on Steam you’ll even get a small 10% discount making this deal that much sweeter. Now come on Sega, bring the other two entries in the Valkyria Chronicles to PC and make the trilogy complete!
