Ninja Gaiden 3’s Decapitation Removed?

A member of Team Ninja informed IGN that the reason for the decapitation removal was because “We don’t think people want to see that anymore, they’ve already seen it.” Slightly odd don’t you guys think? I mean take away the crazy blood spraying, limb lopping, head decapitations in any 70’s Kung Fu flick or 80’s Ninja film and it’s kinda boring. I guess we’ll all have to see how this one plays out, maybe it won’t be that important come game time.
