This is interesting, Blizzard, who is basically the foundation of the DOTA craze has delayed their own DOTA clone. I’m sure if they wait long enough and include it in the next StarCraft 2 expansion it’ll add that many more copies sold. Snarky comments aside I wonder how this will change the DOTA landscape now that both Valve and Blizzard have their coffers behind it. Blizzard wants to make their DOTA clone more newbie friendly; will they pull this off or will it just end up being more of the same? I guess we’ll have to wait for BlizzCon for more answers.
