Ubisoft has been on a roll lately with adding DRM to games. Now it seems that after a revolt from PC players they are finally starting to wake up. I guess the squeaky wheel does get the oil sometimes! You’ll need to wait two weeks but after that you should be able to go offline and play From Dust under the sea or 20,000 feet in the air just like you always wanted. Ubisoft asks you to patiently wait as they need to make sure none of your save data will be corrupted, but if you’ve played the patch game before you know there’s always a chance. You might want to hold off and play something else while you wait.
