Serious Sam is a man who needs no cover, it doesn’t matter how many hundreds of bad guys come his way he’ll stand there with the trigger down and lay waste to all of them. How many Video Game Heroes can say that? DooM Guy, Quake Guy, Daniel Garner (Painkiller), Prisoner 849 (Unreal), Caleb (Blood) and Duke Nukem are the standouts. That’s a short list in a long line of video games, it’s nice to see Devolver Digital and Croteam sticking to their guns as it were.
