Rock, Paper, Shotgun got a preview of the new Jurassic Park game by Telltale Games and am I liking what I hear. There’s usually a part somewhere slightly after the middle of an adventure game that I always find myself lost. I have to go hunt for an answer, clue or something and I need to turn to forums, wikis, strategy guides or whatever else as I just can’t wrap my head around what I’m suppose to be doing. It really ruins the experience for me.
What they’ve done to simplify this sounds good and after their previous game I trust them. They aren’t just quick time events (QTE’s) but a means for fluid control in an adventure game setting. Anything has to be better than the python like arm and hand combo from Jurassic Park: Trespasser. Telltale makes me ready to head back to Isla Nublar and check it out.
