I hate this trend in gaming, everyone likes to say how much money they “lost” as a result of used gaming. Quantic Dream, the guys who made Heavy Rain are the latest to jump on this boat. If all industries had this view, everything would just exploded or deteriorate the moment you didn’t want it. The transition from physical to digital really isn’t helping as now publishers have a way to say “no, you gamers cannot ever sell our games”. While this is great for them, it leaves us gamers in a bad position of having to wait for a sale event that may never come if we don’t feel like paying retail. Co-Founder Guillaume de Fondaumiere does say that games are “probably to expensive” and that there needs to be some things worked out. What do you guys think are games to expensive, what do you expect of a $60 game versus a $30 game?
