Now I love Battlefield, played them all since Battlefield 1942, but 9 maps are just that and so are 5 modes, while playing 5 different modes on 9 maps is a different experience it doesn’t mean it’s exactly unique. However semantics aside I will say it’s good to hear that you can play all the modes on all the maps, I do hate when certain modes are locked to only a few maps.
New to Battlefield and want to know what the modes are? Well they are
- Team Deathmatch: 2 Teams of 12 players, no vehicles
- Squad Deathmatch: 4 squads of 4 players battle it out, 1 infantry fighting vehicle
- Rush: 24 Players on Consoles, 32 On PC Attack and Defend style gameplay
- Squad Rush: 2 squads of 4 players attack and defend style gameplay, no vehicles
- Conquest: 24/32 Players on Consoles, 64 on PC, Capture and Hold Flag Points
On modes that have vehicles you can also play on servers with Infantry Only mode on and Hardcore mode that ramps up the lethality.
