The patch that forced Steamworks onto The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim really irked some players. We can see what that would make you angry if you didn’t like or want Steam, bought a game only to have it forced on you later. Even though we like Steam we aren’t everyone however the small silver lining to the forced addition of Steamworks might be this nugget of news that Skyrim is getting the Steam Workshop. This should make getting the best and coolest mods for Skyrim easier than ever and for people that love Steam another love letter of sorts.
