You would think they would be crazy not to release a PC version but we posted about it here and then there’s this quote from the article on Eurogamer.net – “The publisher told Eurogamer this afternoon that “Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has not been announced on PC”, and that “Ghost Recon Online is the PC equivalent”.” That seemed to be pretty damning so we wonder what the hell happened? Was it just a mix up at the time, did they really think the free-to-play Ghost Recon: Online was going to satisfy those hardcore enthusiasts and then see the backlash? We may never know but hell as long as Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier or TCGRFS for short is coming to PC we don’t give a damn what changed their minds so long as something did.

Company Confirms PC Version, Announces Multiplayer Beta for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in April
London, UK – January 10, 2012 – Today Ubisoft announced Tom Clancy™’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier™ will launch in the UK on May 25, 2012. The game will be available for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the Sony PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, and for Windows PC at a later date. A multiplayer beta will be available in April for both Xbox 360® and PlayStation®3.
