That’s not just a headline it’s the truth, Nexuiz does look like Quake 3 on acid and it’s coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC via Steam. Causing that acid like quality the gameplay is not only very fast but you’ll have 3 abilities called Mutators to grant you abilities like uber-melee, rapid fire, jet packs etc. Apparently there’s also some controversy surrounding the name Nexuiz as it originally started as an open source first person shooter project. That part of the original Nexuiz has split to form Xonotic while this Nexuiz is now a commercial endeavor. Who will have the better FPS, I guess we’ll just have to play both to find out!
