Jazzy delight Pid is getting some free DLC thanks to fans, developer Might and Delight being awesome and to celebrate Pid winning the Innovative Newcomer Award at the European Innovative Games Award in Frankfurt, Germany. This new DLC is titled “Challenge Rooms” so if you had any doubt what you are getting yourself into the name alone should tip you off that this is going to tax your brain a wee bit. For now this DLC is confined to PC users of the game but fear not multiplatform lovers they are looking into porting the features over to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 as soon as they can. Might and Delight caps award win with release of new free Pid DLC
Stockholm, Sweden – January 29th 2013 – Stockholm based independent developer, Might and Delight is pleased to announce that their game – Pid has won the Innovative Newcomer Award at a ceremony organized by the European Innovative Games Award in Frankfurt, Germany.
“It’s a phenomenal honour to be recognized for all the work we have put into creating a game we are immensely proud of and one we share with our absolutely amazing fans and supporters” says Anders Westin, CEO of Might and Delight. “Hopefully winning this award will alert a lot more people to the game which really needs to be experienced to be appreciated.”
To mark the occasion of the award win, Might and Delight will be releasing a series of new Pid levels for the PC dubbed ‘Challenge Rooms’.
“The Challenge Rooms are a feature we’ve been developing for some time as a way of expanding on the Pid experience. It will be released on only the PC for now, but we hope to port the extra feature to other platforms at the earliest opportunity,” added Anders Westin
