There’s a lot going on during a MechWarrior Online match and when just starting out it can be hard to decide what to do, what to buy and how to excel. The team at Piranha Games have put up this BattleMech Weight Class Overview video to help you get your feet wet on why you would choose a light, medium or heavy mech over the other. The light class has great speed for some hit and run fun along with scouting duties, medium mechs are good all arounders and are great in packs, heavy mechs pack a punch but can still move at a decent speed, assault mechs bring the pain in damage along with taking damage but are slow and work great with a good support group of other classes.
