Muramasa Rebirth is an updated version of the previously Wii exclusive Muramasa: The Demon Blade. Muramasa Rebirth on the PS Vita has been updated with brand new HD graphics, revised controls, two separate stories and 108 blades for your forge. The game has also be completely relocalized in English and is not the same old translation used in the 2009 Nintendo Wii version.
The two stories in this version are of Momohime and Kisuke. Momohime is a princess who has been possed by an evil spirit and must battle demons along her journey to the west. Kisuke on the other hand is a ninja without a memory who is searching for the demon blades as he travels east. If you want even more action you’ll be able to pick up additional scenarios via DLC once the game is released.
There’s two versions of Muramasa Rebirth available over on Amazon for pre-order the first is the regular edition. The regular edition includes Muramasa Rebirth for PS Vita and if you pre-order you’ll be receiving a copy of the Muramasa Rebirth Abridged Soundtrack with five songs. Should you want even more Muramasa Rebirth you can pickup the Limited Edition which besides the game includes a Muramasa Rebirth Face Cover, Muramasa Rebirth System Skin, Muramasa Rebirth System Pouch and a one of a kind framed Lithograph by George Kamitani. Like the regular edition if you pre-order the Limited Edition at Amazon you’ll also be getting the Muramasa Rebirth Abridged Soundtrack with five songs.
