Project SHIELD by NVIDIA is sure going to pack a wallop once it’s released sometime in June 2013. With a Tegra 4 processor inside and running Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) on top of that means smooth android gaming goodness. For this demo NVIDIA’s Will Park is showing off some ARMA Tactics. You should be able to tell right off the bat that this is a serious tactical game in the same vein of any game in the ARMA series. With highly trained soldiers on the battlefield and you in the drivers seat there’s no stopping you from winning the mission. With randomly generated levels and objectives the action will never feel the same way twice.
With the Project SHIELD you can easily use the controller and reach up and quickly tap the touchscreen when needed. With the open environment you’ll need to think fast and thankfully it looks like the controls won’t be getting in the way on this mission. Thanks to the Tegra 4 processor ARMA Tactics really shines with updated dynamic shadows, enhanced particle effects, enhanced smoke, higher object density and of course increased geometry for better graphical fidelity. Be sure to head on past the break to see ARMA Tactics get tactical on the Project SHIELD.
