Tim Keenan who is part of Misfits Attic and released the awesome puzzle game on Steam, A Virus Named TOM, shows you just how hard it is to tell people, nicely, what you do for a living when you’re a game developer. It should be easy now, people game all the time on any number of devices at work, on the go, at home, anywhere and everywhere someone has downloaded a game like Angry Birds and at least tried it to help pass the day. But just because everyone knows the kind of work you do doesn’t make it easier to explain what you do, in fact it might just make it harder. We appreciate the non-destructive use of Storm Shadow and Gizmo to illustrate Tim’s point, no action figures were harmed in the making of this video. We also think Tim is secretly Storm Shadow in disguise and is giving us the hint that Gremlins was based on a true story of a failed attempt at Cobra to destroy a small town with Mogwai’s. Head down past the jump and have a laugh, just remember to try and not be like Gizmo the next time you’re talking to a famous game developer like Tim.
