Gun Monkeys takes those crazy simians you know and love, straps some guns on them, blast them into the future which throws them into a procedurally generated level and lets them shoot the crap out of each other. That’s right, there’s no learning levels here they are all made on the fly so you’ll never run out of places to shoot up. The monkeys on this journey also need to collect more power cubes than all the other evil monkeys who are also there to steal power cubes and there’s only one way to settle this, GUN FIGHT! Gun_Monkeys is beta testing soon and should be arriving on Steam after there where you’ll finally be able to go bananas and blast your friends monkey style! be sure to check out the trailer below for some bloody good deathmatch action.

PRESS RELEASE
Size Five Games’ Gun Monkeys coming to Steam
London, June 2013
GUN MONKEYS, the unique procedurally-generated multiplayer monkey deathmatch shooter from BAFTA-winning Size Five Games is coming to Steam.
“YAAAAY!”, shrieked Size Five’s Chief Executive Idiot Dan Marshall. “Steam’s brilliant, and their pleasingly-secure profile/ login system means I won’t have to write my own! That’s a relief, because I wouldn’t have a *clue* how to even start something like that”, he added with blunt-and-awkward honesty.
“Gun Monkeys relishes in providing short, sharp jabs of intense multiplayer gaming, so tying it into Steam means you’ll be able to get a game against your friends really quickly.”
“We’ll be entering a closed Beta period as soon as we’ve managed to successfully plug all Steam’s systems into ours, and assuming nothing horrendously-unpleasant happens, we’ll be launching the whole game shortly afterwards.”
Gun Monkeys on Steam will come jam-packed with all sorts of Achievements, Leaderboards, Trading Cards and LOADS AND LOADS of stats and info about your own personal squad of monkeys. Get ready to show off your monkey-shooting prowess.
In GUN MONKEYS, players take charge of a modern-day power company. In the distant future, a catastrophic experiment into Perpetual Energy obliterates all human life, leaving the world choc-full of free-for-the-taking energy. Your job is to send a legion of pleasingly-expendable monkeys forwards in time to collect Power Cubes and return them to present-day, all from the comfort of your PC. Sadly, it looks like one or two other entrepreneurs have had the exact same idea…
Anyone interested in taking part in the Beta should follow @danthat on Twitter for details.
GUN MONKEYS will be available on PC and Mac DEFINITELY and Linux as soon as I can work out what Linux even is.
