Space Nomads is running a crowdfunding campaign over on indiegogo looking to raise $60,000 to finish this awesome procedural generated, space, base building, tower defense, multiplayer game. But it also has an end goal unlike most tower defense games, at the end of it all you must find a way off the plant you crash landed on, the planet just happened to be infested with homicidal bugs!
The biggest praise has already been given to the game and that is the similarities to the movie Starship Troopers. When night falls waves of bugs will awake from their slumber and start to march toward your base to eat the previous power supply inside along with any pesky humans who happen to be nearby. During the day however you can search the planet for minerals and bring those back to your crashed ship to build up some defenses to survive the night. And for the ultimate experience the team is looking to support the Oculus Rift if the game is funded.
