Payday 2’s David Goldfarb answers the key question What is Payday 2 in the first 30 seconds of this latest video, a co-operative robbery RPG. While you still play Payday 2 from a first person perspective there is much more going on this time with character upgrades, mission choices, weapons and masks a plenty. This time around there are more avenues for you to approach and complete your heists including the much requested stealth option. Payday 2 is shaping up to what a sequel should be, bigger, better, badder and more of what you loved from the previous entry.
