Now I was intrigued when I saw this come across the wire as I thought maybe this could be Mario Kart-ish or maybe something like SplitSecond with insane tracks or even more like Trials Evolution which I think the time aspect from that game is here but from what we got here’s what I know. Hot Wheels World’s Best Driver takes 24 licensed Hot Wheels vehicles and pits them against each other to see who is the best of the best on each crazy track in four different locales. We get some minimal gameplay footage from the trailer below but each race looks to be on a combo of Hot Wheels orange bendy track and real-world surfaces like dirt and asphalt.
The vehicles you get are based on which team you choose, Team Green who is the fastest, Team Red who is the most outrageous, Team Yellow is the most powerful and finally Team Blue who is the most high-tech. There’s also a whole 22 minute live action World’s Best Driver video with some pretty impressive stunts that you can check out here.
