Tactical Intervention brought to you from one of the original creators of Counter-Strike, Minh “Gooseman” Le, is finally in open beta on Steam. Being a free to play game means there’s already Starter Packs, one for each side no less, Terrorist and Counter-Terrorist, nifty. The very dub-steppy trailer is below so if you’re one to cover your ears when the bass hits or freak out when the trailer starts glitching out intentionally please avert your attention. It’s also on the Steam page so there is no escape from it at all.
Not included in the beta and set to whet your appetite is the reveal that two new maps are coming, Airport and Monaco. I will tell you, ever since Die Hard 2 and Rainbow 6, I am partial to game with a sweet airport rescue mission so hopefully the Gooseman delivers. You can also drive and shoot for some highway shenanigans that is sure to be popping up on many a YouTuber’s channel. The beta won’t be running that long as the release date is already set for September 12th 2013 so jump in now and check it out.
