Pocket Rumble on Kickstarter takes everything you love about one on one fighting games and shrinks it down into a power packed 8-bits of glory. Right now they are targeting PC, Mac and Linux platforms but they have just added a stretch goal to bring the game to the portable of portables, Nintendo 3DS. Pocket Rumble has a playable roster of 8 characters for you to choose from each with a style similar to classic fighting game favorites along with 2 cameo characters to challenge your button skills.
Just like I talked about last week on our Weekly Gaming Recap Show, I hate paid fighting game DLC and the guys at Cardboard Robot Games say their DLC will be free, forever. It’s nice to hear that someone finally gets that fighting games need community and you can’t be breaking that up with lame DLC packs.
