Action RPG Legends of Aethereus by ThreeGates was recently greenlit to come to Steam and the studio is wasting no time showing gamer’s what they will be in-store starting now! That’s right, forget all this Steam Early Access you can buy Legends of Aethereus already for $29.99 but if you buy right here on Steam before October 4th 2013 you can pick up the game for $23.99.
Legends of Aethereus features both PvP and PvE along with four player co-op and single player adventures so you can bring your friends for a monster smashing good time or settle in and do some solo work when you just want to buff some stats. According to the press release the combat is physics-based so those big ass weapons you always love lugging around should really do some damage to foes knocking them back and slicing some massive hit points off their life bars. Conversely you better watch out when that boss with the giant sword comes after you, I don’t think your character is just going to stand there and take it anymore when getting pummeled in the face. Legends of Aethereus Coming to Steam on September 27th
Co-Op Action RPG recently Greenlit by Steam Greenlight Community
GOTLAND, SWEDEN – September 23, 2013 – ThreeGates, an independent game development studio focused on Action Role-Playing Games, today announced that Legends of Aethereus, a game that was recently greenlit by the Steam community, will be available on the platform on September 27th.
“Beyond making a game that we really wanted to play ourselves, getting Legends of Aethereus greenlit has been our biggest goal over the past year,” said Don Geyer, CEO of ThreeGates. “We want to thank the Steam community for voting us up and also want to state our commitment to delivering an RPG experience that’s unlike any other game available today. On September 27th, players around the world will be able to play our game and we’re looking forward to a great launch.”
As Legends of Aethereus drives towards launch, the team is still hard at work making continual game improvements and designing the first DLC content to expand the Aethereus universe. Additional distribution platforms will roll the game out over the course of the next couple of weeks as well.
