If all your level 85 EverQuest 2 friends are blazing a trail across the Age of Destiny and you just started on your journey to become a bad ass Everquestian have no fear, Sony is here to help you and take your money. Should you want to put on some sweet pants and see what it’s like on the wild side of high level raiding all you need to do is pony up 3,500 Station Cash which goes for a little more than $30 depending on how you buy your digital currency.
If you’re reading this and are in before October 15th 2013 you’ll be invited to create one Heroic Character, starts at level 85, for free per household. This goes for both new players and existing players so everyone should be feeling the hero mojo during this fun time in EverQuest 2. If you happen to be late to the party you’ll still be able to shortcut your way to level 85 for free until level 86 at which point you’ll have to send Sony some of that blood money.
While some gamer’s might feel this is cheating it seems like a good compromise. For a game that’s been out for nine years if you finally cave in to your friends nagging you to play and start your EverQuest 2 journey now this is a great way to hang with them. You still have the option to create a second character and trudge through the trenches starting from level 1 but if you don’t have that kind of time this is a nice and easy way to keep up with the Joneses.
