Worms Revolution Extreme (PS Vita) Rocks A Mic Like A Vandal On Oct 8th/9th

You’ve got Worms in your PS Vita! For the first time ever the lovable Worms franchise is coming the PS Vita and this time they are EXTREME! Worms Revolution Extreme has 47 crazy missions along with 25 puzzles to tease that inveterate brain of yours. Cross-Save is supported so you can play Worms Revolution on your PS3 and then head out and keep playing Worms Revolution Extreme on your PS Vita no matter where you are.

Cross-Save isn’t the only new PS3 to PS Vita ability there is also a new mode called Treasure Mode. In Treasure Mode you can help your friends unlock 10 special gifts. Complete the requirements and the player on the PS Vita will receive a key while the player on the PlayStation 3 will receive a treasure chest; bring them together to get your special gifts.

Of course this wouldn’t be a Worms game without the carnage that is the Worms specialty. Worms Revolution Extreme features local and online multiplayer with all the fun you’ve come to know and love. The modes included in this portable PS Vita version are Deathmatch, Forts and Classic where you and up to three of your Worm enemies fight to the death! Worms Revolution Extreme is coming to the US on October 8th and the EU on October 9th 2013 for £11.99/€14.99/$14.99 via the PlayStation Network.

Extensive single player campaign
Spanning a whopping 47 missions and 25 puzzles to beat and complete. Missions are set amongst a variety of different environment themes including: Sewer, Farmyard, Spooky, Beach, Mars, Funfair or Medieval!

Local and online multiplayer carnage
Worms has always been great with friends, or enemies! With Worms™ Revolution Extreme that’s no different as you’re able to take part in local or online multiplayer battles for up to four players! Choose from one of three game modes: Deathmatch, Forts and Classic and getting firing those Bazookas!

Treasure Mode
New for PS Vita (and PS3) is the cool Cross-Gifting feature, Treasure Mode! This all new mode enables you to link up with your friends who have a PS3 system (or vice versa). You can help each other unlock 10 special gifts using a lock and key system. Meet the requirements in either offline Versus or online battles to receive a key and connect to a friend’s PlayStation 3 system with the corresponding chest to unlock the treasure!

Touch Screen 
We’ve also utilised the PS Vita’s touch screen controls and added in the ability to use the front touch screen to select items and zoom/pan the camera and the back touch pad to control the aiming reticule to aim your weapons.

Cross-Save
Keep your worms close and mobile using Cross-Save! This cool feature allows players to carry on their PlayStation 3 save game progress on their PS Vita, or vice versa.
