Free to play Mech blaster Hawken is gearing up for a new update titled Wreckage. The all new map has you and your fellow pilots shooting it out inside and around a crashed freight cruiser in the middle of a swamp. Hmmm, sounds kind of like Degobah to me, but yeah, swamps, Mechs, destroyed ship hulls, bring it on!
To get players in the holiday spirit Adhesive Games has a special twist for gamer’s, even if Hawken takes place in a fictional futuristic universe a holiday is a holiday. The Last Eco map will now feature snow along with some snow camo, snowman repair drones, candy cane thursters and holiday chassis art. You can check out some of the features in the update trailer and then head on over and blast your friends with giant Mechs, it’s the best source of holiday joy around!

HAWKEN: Wreckage Map Released
Meteor Entertainment and Adhesive Games Announce new Multiplayer map
Seattle, WA (Dec. 4th, 2013). – Meteor Entertainment and Adhesive Games release their latest multiplayer map for Mech shooter HAWKEN.
Titled Wreckage, the new map is set inside a huge crashed freight cruiser in a swamp on the planet ILALL and forms part of Meteor Entertainment’s latest initiative in expanding upon HAWKEN’S vast futuristic universe. In a seasonal twist, a special winter version of the the Last Eco map will also make an appearance, complete with a dusting of snow to get HAWKEN players in a festive mood. Holiday themed camo’s, a snowman repair drone, a candy-cane wrapped thruster, chasis art and a good old-fashioned snipe hunt complete the Wreckage patch loadout.
“Our artists and designers worked closely together to ensure that both art and design created the best experience possible for players,” says Darren Quach, senior concept artist.
