Grab A Blender Ball, New EA Sports UFC Screenshots And Trailer Are Here

EA Sports UFC, yes that is the official title, has just released some brand new screenshots and video for the up coming current gen game. They’re still using Next Gen but COME ON, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are here NOW! I guess no one wants to say they are releasing a game for Last Gen just yet. Back on topic, EA Sports UFC is all about putting you in the ring some some of the greatest mixed martial arts fighters in the world and making you feel every punch, kick and take-down like you were there.

The screenshots look nice and detailed, we are getting closer to that uncanny valley of realism but you can still tell this is a rendered image vs real life so don’t get expecting something you’re not getting. The EA Sports UFC vision trailer above gives us a little behind the scenes footage, some work in progress renders and a tiny, tiny bit of pre-alpha footage.

Now the controls are something we really need to play the game to find out just how good they are, because that right there could make or break this game. It could look exactly like a PPV but if the controls aren’t tight this game is going to suffer. We’re still a ways out from release, which is set for Spring 2014 so anything is possible.
