Ubisoft has decided to retool the Tomb Raider reboot for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and dub it the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition for release on January 28th 2014. Their quote on the video about an “obsessively detailed Lara” seems to be slightly disturbing, “more detailed” or “highly detailed” might have been a better choice of words.
However if you have either a PlayStation 4 or an Xbox One and have not yet played Tomb Raider and want to do so you might as well pick up Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. Interestingly the Press Releasess all mention Multiplayer DLC being included but nothing of the Single Player DLC so this doesn’t sound Definitive enough unless everyone is glossing over that facet PC gamer’s will not be getting the Definitive Edition, besides already having enhanced graphics your best bet is to wait for a Steam sale and pick it up with the DLC you want.
