Lara Croft has finally raided enough PC and Console gamer’s wallets and now is looking for more gold to feed her globe trotting adventures. She now has Mac gamer’s in her sights and is set to attack as Tomb Raider launches for Mac OSX on January 23rd 2014.
Unfortunately for Mac gamer’s this is not some all incompassing Definitive or even Game of the Year edition of Tomb Raider but the vanilla experience. If you would however like to get everything DLC released that is going to cost you more, that’s right MOAR! The game will launch on the Mac App Store first and be available elsewhere on January 30th 2014 for $49.99(US)/£34.99(UK)/€44.99(EUR).

A Survivor is Born: Tomb Raider Arrives on the Mac on January 23rd
Feral Interactive announced today that the epic action adventure game Tomb Raider™ will be released for the Mac from January 23rd. Developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix for PC and consoles, Tomb Raider is the much-praised series reboot that tells the gripping story of how a young woman becomes the extraordinary Lara Croft, Tomb Raider.
Winner of over 40 awards, the critically-acclaimed Tomb Raider had the biggest opening week sales in franchise history, and continues to be one of the top-selling titles of 2013.
Alongside the thrilling single-player adventure, Tomb Raider features an exhilarating online multiplayer mode. A Steam account will be required to access online multiplayer, which supports Mac-to-Mac play only. Online multiplayer will not be available in versions of the game purchased through the Mac App Store. The game will launch on the Mac App Store on January 23rd, and will launch on other stores January 30th.
Tomb Raider for the Mac will retail in North America for US $49.99, £34.99 (inc. VAT) in the UK and €44.99 (inc.VAT) throughout Europe. Minimum system requirements call for a 2.0GHz Intel Mac with at least 4.0GB RAM, 512MB or better graphics card, and Mac OS 10.9.1 or later.
