PRESS RELEASE
Abstraction Games announce Gunslugs blasting onto the PlayStation®Vita on FEB 18 (US) and FEB 19 (EU)
Valkenswaard, February 14 2014, Abstraction Games proudly announce today that Gunslugs for the PlayStation®Vita will be released on February 18 in North America and February 19 in Europe.
Tj’ièn Twijnstra: “I’m very proud to announce that multi-ward winning, rogue-like run’n gunner Gunslugs is making its way to PlayStation®Vita.
Originally developed by legendary super developer Pascal Bestebroer under the Orange Pixel label and now adapted (and published) for the PS®Vita by Abstraction Games, mostly known for the extremely well received Hotline Miami for PlayStation® platforms.
Gunslugs has almost everything you ever wanted in a good game, a big cast of unlockable characters, screen filling end bosses, nice variation of weapons, drivable tanks, jetpacks, hidden worlds, princesses, armor shop, white wizards, nerds with handhelds, rain, snow, hell, hellworms, sandworms, train rides, chip-tunes by Gavin Harrison, and now finally with BUTTONS!
The PS®Vita version naturally comes with Trophies, Leaderboards and Cloud saving. And… we’re throwing in a 20% discount for PSPlus members the first week after it’s released.”

About Abstraction Games
Abstraction Games was founded in 2007 by Ralph Egas and incorporated in 2011 by co-founders Ralph Egas (CEO) And Erik Bastianen (CTO), both game industry veterans.
Most notable work so far by Abstraction Games includes the conversion of best-sellers like “Hotline Miami for PlayStation platforms”, “Angry Birds”, “Cut The Rope”, “RocketBirds: Hardboiled Chicken” And “Hotline Miami”. Given the opportunity to work on such high end and well known titles we show that our partners entrust Abstraction Games with their property and expect us to deliver high quality software.
Some of the ported titles were done based on revenue sharing and that really paid off for us with Angry Birds as the single most top selling title on the PlayStation®Network. As such we were able to incorporate Abstraction Games BV in 2011 and soon we found ourselves hiring truly talented people. As of January 2012 Abstraction Games has 10 full-time employees.
Apart from doing ports of successful titles we provide software and game development services all the way from concept to release, with the ambition to create original IP in the near future.
