Get ready for some behemoth ship on ship multiplayer combat as Steel Waves is up on Kickstarter looking for your help. In total, 16 players will be on the high seas at any given time leading to some intense firefights and standoffs on the oceans of blue.
Steel Waves will feature client/server architecture with Game Tonic and player hosted servers, four ship classes, Battleship, Cruiser, Destroyer and Frigate, a modular damage system, ship customization and multiple game types. If the game is funded stretch goals will add ship decoration, Aircraft Carrier class ship, increase of maximum players and many more. Steel Waves currently has 23 days left to go on Kickstarter and the team at Game Tonic is looking to raise £10,000. A copy of the game is £10 but if you act fast you can get in on the limited early bird off for £5.
