I know they don’t really need to do to much to sell the latest and greatest Madden game, titled Madden NFL 15 this year, to its legion of fans but can they at least put some excitement in the teasers and trailers? Where’s the flashy cuts, the frames fading to black, the epic music, the fanfare and where’s the juke, jive and sizzle?
Take a look at the Madden NFL 2012 Teaser for the Wii, it has mystique, build up and leaves me wanting to see more of the game. The Madden NFL 15 teaser trailer has none of this. All it has is Luke Kuechly turning CG and it makes his eyes look almost reptilian in the process. Check it out and let me know what you think, am I crazy? And the bigger question, does it even matter, would this still sell like hotcakes even if they just released a teaser that said Madden NFL 15, Buy It, August 26th?
