Announced during NVIDIA’s Panel at PAX East 2014 Half-Life 2 and Portal have finally made their way to the NVIDIA Shield. That means you can get your GLaDOS fix anywhere around your home and possibly around town, if you have a fast enough internet connection on both ends.
You know what’s weird, anyone else think that the perspective in Half-Life 2 seems a bit off when playing on the NVIDIA Shield? It’s almost like the shotgun looks a little to far forward in the gameplay video NVIDIA is showing off. Naturally it was made with larger screen monitors in mind so it might just be the default FOV transition to the 5 inch screen of the NVIDIA Shield.
Anyway it’s good to see NVIDIA is continually updating the NVIDIA Shield with newer and newer features. They have a good thing going with the Shield but I really want to see what they do with a NVIDIA Shield 2 if we ever get one.
