Anti-gravity racing game Flashout 2 has floated its own boat over onto Steam and will be ready to take off come June 6th 2014. Sadly without tires on the ground we can’t make any burning rubber puns. Flashout 2 looks heavy on speed and heavy on the power-ups both of which are needed if you’re going to call yourself inspired by F-Zero and Wipeout.
Jujubee Games Studios looks like they have thrown the kitchen sink into Flashout 2 there’s career mode, 10 maps, Steam Achievements, Elimination, Destruction and Versus Multiplayer Online game modes and more. Also the press release mentions a real time in-game equalizer that effects the visuals based on the music being played. Flashout 2 is going to be available for PC and Linux via Steam and if you pick it up during the first week there will be a discount.
