Bungie knows not everyone can be at E3 so they are bringing the E3 experience right to your home, well your monitor at least. This latest trailer for Destiny shows off about 5 minutes of gameplay footage from the much anticipated massively multiplayer game.
Destiny looks good, I’ll give it that and I know Bungie are going for the whole you will care about this universe aesthetic but while the world looks amazing to me to be honest the gameplay so far seems generic. We’ve had our Borderlands and Defiance and Destiny just seems to blend them together. It’s not bad but the problem with having the pedigree of a Bungie is I’m expecting something amazing.
So maybe I’m missing something, maybe I’m just crazy but I need Bungie to really sell me on this. I’m hoping once the beta rolls around on July 17th 2014 and we all get to try it out actually playing the game instead of sitting on the sidelines just watching will win me over.
