Another big month for Microsoft as the October Xbox One update is almost here. Larry Hryb aka Major Nelson is on hand with Xbox Engineer Richard Irving to give you a look at the upcoming changes to the Xbox One platform.
The Snap App is getting more responsive controls so you’ll have to do less fiddling around to quickly move in and out of Snap. Snap Messaging was added along with a threaded conversation view so you’ll never wonder just what the hell you were talking about with your friends when that late night message comes through.
Recording gameplay highlights without a Kinect is also coming, now users buying the new bundles can record the last 30 seconds of gameplay with an easy double tap + X button combo. If you still fancy yourself and achievement hunter you can now see which one of your friends have specific achievements, might be useful to get some tips from them. All in all a nice set of updates, it’s nice to see Microsoft rolling out these updates with regular frequency and keeping gamers in the loop the whole time.
