FINALLY, the WWE has given us gameplay of WWE 2k15! What does it look like? It looks pretty good on the surface, some wrestlers look better than others. There’s still a weird disconnect between the clothes they are wearing and their body movements. That’s understandable when you have so many different variations on gear I guess.
Of course the one thing this trailer really shows off is the new hair tech that has gone into WWE 2k15. With a lot of characters sporting long locks of both luscious and greasy hair it’s a nice change to see.
There also seems to be more polys used to beef up characters giving wrestlers less of a dead mannequin presence in the ring. It’s still there but compare this new footage to last years and you can tell they are making progress.
Of course the real star of the show is going to be the gameplay. It doesn’t matter how good any WWE game looks if WWE 2k15 can’t pull off some great gameplay it will die a quick death like The Shockmaster. I guess we’ll know when the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions hit on October 28th 2014. Which is just early enough to find out if gamers picking up the PS4 and Xbox One versions on November 18th 2014 should cancel their pre-order.
