Citizens of Ooo, Prepare Yourself For Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom

I’m not going to lie, I have high hopes for Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom. Adventure Time is one of those properties that should be raking in the money and it might be, from a younger audience, but so far all the previous games have lackluster reviews and opinions about them. We aren’t talking Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing here just shallow games that could be so much more and should be, especially for the price.

Now we come back to Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom which from the sound of the story developer WayForward is building in three different endings. This is in addition to the brand new Kingdom created specific for the game, The Nameless Kingdom from the title. The game does have that Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past look to it, fitting since previous game in the series, Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why’d You Steal Our Garbage?!, was reminiscent of Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link.

Will the homage to one of the best SNES games ever finally bring Adventure Time to it’s rightful place atop the throne of the best video game cartoon tie-in ever? We won’t have to wait long for the reviews as Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom is coming to PC via Steam, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo 3DS on November 18th 2014.
