Iridium Studios There Came An Echo features some pretty awesome vocal recognition technology, so much so they had a sound proof booth to show off the game during PAX East. You know, so you could actually talk to the game with the crazy decibels put out by the League of Legends and Twitch Booths, those guys are intense!
Even with all the awesome tech behind There Came An Echo there’s still an awesome sci-fi storyline in the game which this trailer is here to show off. On top of that there’s also some familiar sounding voices provided by the likes of Ashly Burch, Laura Bailey, Yuri Lowenthal, Cassandra Lee Morris, Rachel Robinson, Cindy Robinson and of course Wil Wheaton. There Came An Echo is going to be coming to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and while yes the voice tech is awesome you will be able to play with just a controller or keyboard and mouse as well.

Wil Wheaton, Ashly Burch star in action-packed, science-fiction epic
LOS ANGELES, CA, November 13th, 2014 – Iridium Studios, developer of the critically acclaimed Sequence, has unveiled just the barest fraction of the remarkable plot of There Came an Echo in a new, character-focused trailer. Beyond the insane action and innovative voice commands, the story reaches incredible levels of production quality thanks to its AAA voice cast, headed up by Wil Wheaton.
“We have the best voice cast in the history of indie games,” said Jason Wishnov, CEO of Iridium Studios. “Well, the guy from Bastion, he was really awesome. But we’re at least second.”
Joining Mr. Wheaton is Ashly Burch, Laura Bailey, Yuri Lowenthal, Cassandra Lee Morris, Rachel Robinson, and Cindy Robinson. The group braves extreme danger to uncover the mysteries around a seemingly unbreakable cryptographic lock and prevent a devastating secret from changing the very fabric of society.
Iridium Studios ran a successful Kickstarter campaign in March of 2013, and then procured further funding from Intel in a partnership to utilize their advanced Intel® RealSense™ technology. They are very thankful to their fans around the world, regardless of gender, race, or beliefs.
