Unlike Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Tales From The Borderlands loves previous and current generation gamers all the same. That means it’s going to be launching for PC, Mac, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One along with both iOS and Android devices. The only console left out of this is the Wii U and at this point I don’t get why, seems like this would be a perfect game to use on the touch screen Wii U GamePad.
The group of characters will be different from previous game since the game comes after Borderlands 2 canonically. This time the game will be focusing on Rhys, Fiona, Vaughn, Sasha, Vasquez, August and returning all around awesome guy Handsome Jack. Telltale Games says that the first episode of Tales from the Borderlands should be available “soon” for PC, Mac, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One while the versions coming to iOS and Android will be available before the end of 2014.
Pricing for Tales from the Borderlands seems a bit odd single episodes on consoles cost $4.99 with the complete series costing $19.99 on Sony’s platform, Microsoft however has a Season Pass Upgrade at $14.99 after you buy the first episode and PC/Mac players will incur an extra fee it seems at a season pass coming in at $24.99. Weird….
