It’s time to be berry berry quiet, you’re hunting freaky cyborg robot things. I’m going to be honest, I have no idea what you are hunting in Interstellar Marines but they are freaky. It’s also awesome that the game isn’t just brown shooter #365 but instead a sci-fi inspire first person shooter with tactical elements and co-op, we love co-op! Bonus points for name dropping one of the all time great FPS’s of our time System Shock 2 in their about this game section.
This latest update to Interstellar Marines finally adds in suppressors for both the SMG and Assault Rifle. As per FPS rules when you attach a suppressor on your weapon you get the benefit of low noise but the damage output is also lessened. The team over at Zero Point Software has also added more working game modes to a bunch of maps in both singleplayer and co-op, along with a bunch of tweaks to the AI routines for the bots and fixing a few issues with the game.
Interestingly there is also a list of currently Known Issues which I think is great for an Early Access game hell any game really should have that in their patch notes. At least now you know going in what the developer is in the loop about so you don’t spam that report bug function. Interstellar Marines is currently on Steam Early Access for $18.99 or you can grab a four pack for
$49.99. Zero Point Software has been steadily updating the game and it’s nice to see a developer committed to using Steam Early Access correctly so don’t hesitate to check them out.
