We told you Blackguards 2 was coming in our last Weekly Gaming Recap Show and now the team over at Daedalic Entertainment has released another New Features Video for your enjoyment. Blackguards 2 will be based on the rulebook for the RPG The Dark Eye, sounds ominous.
Surprisingly Blackguards 2 isn’t that far off, usually we start to see these kinds of video 6 months to a year out but Blackguards 2 is gearing up for release on Jan. 20th 2015 so you won’t have to wait long. Blackguards 2 will be hitting Steam, GOG and other online storefronts for £23.99, until then be sure to check out the video.

Blackguards 2 – Gameplay additions explained in second feature video
Once again based on the RPG rulebook of The Dark Eye, Blackguards 2 will remain an SRPG focusing on strategic battles with a group of scoundrels as anti-heroes. Listening to Blackguards fans’ feedback throughout the development process, the team at Daedalic Entertainment have added new features, mechanics and improved gameplay to turn the sequel into the strategy RPG game the community has always wanted.
To illustrate the additions, Daedalic Entertainment is releasing a series of feature videos focusing on characters, combat and gameplay in time for the 2015 release. The first video in the series can be found here while the second can be viewed below or here on YouTube.
For £23.99 Blackguards 2 will be available on Steam, GOG and other major online stores from January 20th 2015.
