Color Guardians/ looks like a solid side scroller that mixes a little 2.5D in so you’ll have to move between a few different lanes while you blaze through a level. Of course no side scroller worth it’s weight in NES cartridges would be complete without secrets and the Color Guardians press release mentions hidden unlockables for music, art, character models and more, seems about right. Color Guardians is set to release on April 14th 2015 for PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. I’m glad we are getting more of these types of games for the Vita. In Color Guardians, the world has been robbed of its color by the thief Krogma, and it’s up to the three Guardians – Rod, Lia, and Grock – to restore it. Players must guide the Guardians through dozens of challenging, puzzling levels to spread life back to the universe, managing several facets of gameplay at once.
