After the disgrace that was Postal 3, Running with Scissors is finally back in the drivers seat for Postal 2: Paradise Lost. I think this might be the longest time gamers have had to wait between retail release and DLC. Wanton Destruction for the original Shadow Warrior is that last time I can remember DLC that just showed up years later, 8 years in this case, and that was only after the president of Sunstorm Interactive happened to find the files.
The Steam reviews for Postal 2: Paradise Lost are overwhelmingly positive, however in this case I think they should be taken with a grain of salt as Postal 2 fans seem to be a rapid bunch. If you are ready for more of Postal 2’s humor the reviews reveal there is a lot of content there for you to sink your teeth into. Postal 2: Paradise Lost is not going to bring more converts to the Postal 2 fold but Running with Scissors doesn’t seem to care, instead it feels like they released this out of love for their fans who’ve been there this whole time. There’s one more day to pick up Postal 2: Paradise Lost on Steam for 15% off after that it’s back up the regular price of $7.99.
