Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse on Steam with all the games constantly popping up in your feed list here comes Prison Architect, again! All the while Prison Architect was down in the depths of Early Access tooling away, bettering itself, hitting the yard, reading up in the library and asking anyone who would listen “How do I make myself a better game, man, TELL ME HOW”? Well the day has finally come, the board has reviewed Prison Architect’s claim and feel that on October 2015 it should walk out of Steam Early Access and bath in the glow of the sun that is Steam proper. We pray someone has looking it over with a fine tooth comb and none of it’s previous offenses resurface, do you want Prison Architect living near you and your games, well do you? Until then, to give you an idea of what a fine specimen of a game Prison Architect will be on release be sure to check out its recent gameplay video up above.
PRESS RELEASE
Version 1 will launch in October 2015
Bored of a lifestyle of plentiful holidays and late night boozing sessions with Mark, Chris has decided to put everyone under pressure and commit to a launch in October of this year.
There is still much work to be done and we need your opinion on Alpha 35 which launches today and includes a massive update to the gangs system. Prisoners can now trade contraband in the prison for cash and with cash come protection rackets. Gang leaders will actively instruct soldiers and lieutenants to acquire territory in order to extort dollars from the non-affiliated prisoners who want to use the facilities.
