Mike Bithell of Thomas Was Alone fame is back with a very different game, Volume. In Volume you’ll have to limit the noise you make very carefully as this narrative stealth game is all about the sound you purposely make to achieve your final reward, taking down Gisborne Industries from within!
Volume is also a community event, me, you and even you can build, refine and tweak our own Volume levels until they are perfect and then put the out into the digital ether to see if other gamers are as clever as we are. Or you could sit back and let other gamers make levels and check them out to see if they can match your almighty wit. Don’t think that means Volume is devoid of content as there’s 100 levels to sneak through which is sure to keep you up late at night just wracking your brain for a solution.
Volume is out now on Steam, coming later today on PlayStation 4 and will be out shortly on PS Vita. During it’s first week on Steam you’ll get the game for a 10% discount over the regular price of $19.99 for the base game, $24.99 for the Triptych Edition which includes the Soundtrack and Making of eBook or $29.99 for the Quadrilateral Edition that also includes a copy of Thomas Was Alone.
