Instead of creating your own story, which seems to be one of the real highlights behind the Minecraft phenomenon, Telltale Games is going to be giving you Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 1 on October 13th 2015 digitally but if you need yourself a physical copy you’ll be able to buy that on October 27th 2015. The physical disc will grant the purchaser access to the complete Minecraft: Story Mode Season but only the first episode will be on the disc. Minecraft: Story Mode is coming pretty much everywhere at some point PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS Vita, Wii U, iOS and Android. The only device I see not getting a copy is the Nintendo 3DS which is kind of a shame but seems to be the norm for Telltale Games. It will be interesting to see where Telltale takes this series and just what choices they allow us to make in the infinite world of Minecraft, be sure to have your pickax ready.
