There’s a lot of love for the Deus Ex series but damn it I wish there was the same amount of love for the System Shock series. What I wouldn’t give for a brand new creepy ass entry in the great hybrid FPS/RPG series. Until people figure out how great it is GOG.com has cleaned up the original and released it as System Shock: Enhanced Edition. No more needing to grab your floppies or find the missing CD-ROM GOG is here and the game has never looked better. GOG clean up the visuals, the text is now very crisp, along with adding in support for those newfangled widescreen resolutions that we just a distant glimmer in some programmers eye when System Shock was released in March of 1994. You can pick up System Shock: Enhanced Edition on GOG.com for $9.99 but grab it before September 29th 2015 and you’ll save 20%.
