Hard West is taking one part wild west and one part occult and mixing it into one hell of an interesting tactical turn-based six-shooter, we talked about it way back in 2014 when it hit Kickstarter here. It has your typical plot, left for dead you seek vengeance on those who have wronged you but it’s this setting that really makes Hard West standout from all the other games. Developer CreativeForge Games calls this a “Weird” West World experience and I have to agree with them. Besides the usual turn-based action there’s also dynamic cover, using shadows to spot your enemies, ricochets, 40 weapons and what occult wild west game would be complete without special abilities. Hard West is out now on Steam for $19.99 or pickup the Collector’s Edition that includes the Soundtrack, digital Artbook and digital Comic Book for $24.99. If you happen to be feeling lucky before November 25th you can get the game or the Collector’s Edition for 20% off.
