Now your race in the stars is complimented by your race on the surface and in the atmosphere of planets all over the galaxy. Frontier Developments is talking 1:1 scale worlds throughout the Milky Way, in other words, huge ass planets!
To compliment your new planetary buddies there are now SRV ground vehicles in Elite Dangerous. You can raid bases, scout crash sites, cooperate with other players and of course shoot other players SRV’s like fish in a barrel as you cruise over the surface, PEW PEW! If you haven’t picked up the expansion yet you’ll stick get new ships with the Elite Dangerous 1.5 update. They’re saying there’s over 300 improvements in this update along with SteamVR support for all your VR junkies out there. Elite Dangerous: Horizons is the new season of major gameplay expansions for the award-winning space epic Elite Dangerous, beginning today with Planetary Landings on 1:1 scale worlds throughout the Milky Way. Elite Dangerous: Horizonswill introduce further major gameplay features as the season continues into 2016, enriching the Elite Dangerous experience with new activities and new ways to play.
